- Keep bar as overlay while auto-hide is enabled (WlrLayershell.exclusionMode: Ignore) to avoid compositor relayouts and work-area changes.

- Add 1px edge "peek" PanelWindow overlay to reveal on hover;

- Animate bar with directional slide.
